Have you been dreaming of a white Porsche-mas? This 56-strong, almost entirely white collection from Stuttgart’s finest is heading to auction just in time for the festive season. Set to go under the hammer via RM Sotheby’s across 1 and 2 December, you can probably guess the owner of this particular selection of Porsches had a certain taste.

Whether or not you’re a fan of the theme, there’s no arguing there are some pretty spectacular offerings in this line-up.

As with any good Porsche collection, there are more 911s than you could throw a stick at. The earliest of these is a 1965 911 Coupe, made in the first year of the now-iconic sports car’s long production run, estimated to fetch up to $350,000.

Arguably the pick of the first-generation in this list though is a 1973 Carrera RS 2.7 Touring, fully restored just over a decade ago yet complete with a numbers-matching engine and gearbox. Mind you, with an expected $1.2m price tag, it’s not coming cheap.

Among the 964 representations is a ‘93 Carrera RSR 3.8, said to be one of just two road-going ‘Strassenversions’ built by Porsche Motorsport, with a later ‘97 993 GT2 RS competing for the most menacing-looking among this bunch. Expect to pay at least $2m for either of these.

More modern highlights include a red-on-white 2011 997 GT3 RS, a 2019 991 GT2 RS with unusual-looking white accenting, and a (grey!) 997 Sport Classic from 2011.

Singled out as the ‘crown jewel’ of this collection is a 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder, complete with the Weissach package. Along with paint-to-sample Grand Prix White, this example of the hypercar also comes outfitted with a polarising Yachting Blue leather interior and a matching luggage set. It cost the first buyer $1,028,000 - a relative bargain, as it’s now expected to fetch up to £3m under the hammer.

Other non-911 offerings include various 356s, a wide selection of Porsche memorabilia, and even two tractors in case you want to inject some Rennsport spirit into your farming duties.
