The Lamborghini Huracan STO SC 10 Anniversario Is One Last Send-Off

We thought the end of the road for the Lamborghini Huracan had come before. There was the Sterrato - the bonkers off-roader that was widely believed to be a run-out special before the Tecnica was released as a toned-down take on the STO. However, not to let it go easily, the Italian manufacturer has released one more.

This is the Lamborghini Huracan STO SC 10 Anniversario. As you may have guessed, it’s an even more special version of the already remarkable STO. It’s more than just a new lick of paint, too.

‘SC’ in the name stands for Squadra Corse, Lamborghini’s motorsport division, which has made some revisions to the STO as a birthday present to itself.

Carbon fibre canards have been added to the front bumper, with the angle of the rear wing adjusted three degrees higher than the regular STO to improve downforce. Extra mechanical grip should come courtesy of manually adjustable dampers replacing the active system, with a new Bridgestone tyre developed especially for the car. Presumably, that will be an evolved set of the Potenza Sports found previously.

The 5.2-litre V10 remains unchanged, meaning 631bhp and 417lb ft, though it is treated to an Akrapovic titanium exhaust which should send it out of production on an especially high note.

Power is still delivered to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch and, though Lamborghini doesn’t explicitly state it, we’d expect it to match its 3.0-second claimed 0-60mph sprint. Top speed will almost certainly dip from the base STO’s 193mph v-max as a result of the extra downforce, though.

Despite the mechanical and aero changes, the V10 is untouched

Less functional changes include the plastering of the Squadra Corse logo on the exterior, including on the tailfin, with black Alcantara sports seats met with contrasting green stitching. You’ll get a model-specific plaque on the firewall, too.

No word on how many examples Lamborghini plans to make, but expect “few”. Its price will more than likely be a considerable rise on the £260k tag a base Huracan STO commanded when that was on sale.
